TYF believes in targeting Strangers; that is those who are Nigerian and non-Nigerian nationalities, foreigners, migrants or exiles with the intention of assisting them (in any way possible) and for the purpose of systemic integration; especially those who have no one to help them; Orphans, whose future may not be certain because they have lost one or both parents and of course Widows; who often suffer social isolation and loneliness and may have been saddled with the responsibility of raising children alone; we intend to make a difference in their lives too. We have therefore adopted the acronym for Strangers, Orphans and Widows as SOW
STRANGERS
A stranger, simply put, would be someone who, in all practical sense of the word, has no one to turn to and/or are alien to our systems. Its our proverbial neighbour scenario situation, where we must look out for each other.

ORPHANS
An orphan child, we define as a child or dependant who has lost both parents. They need to grow up with hope and care and with the confidence of what future they can define for themselves, as if they had never lost their parents.

WIDOWS
A widow is a woman who has lost her spouse through death and has not remarried. Losing a life partner impacts greatly on anyone, with the resultant effect of loneliness, helplessness, social isolation and loss self confidence.

Together, we refer to them as SOW, not only as an acronym but also as an action word.
